Opportunities

Various organizations offer learning experiences for young numismatists at any level. These seminars allow for learning various aspects of numismatics, including grading, history, photography, research, and more. Some organizations offer scholarships to young numismatists looking to grow their numismatic knowledge. Typically, seminars occur during the summer; however, some offer virtual learning experiences, which can be completed any time of the year. Periodically, numismatic organizations and museums offer fellowships for numismatists interested in research. These fellowships support numismatic research projects. While fellowships allow numismatists to learn more about the field, gain experience, and increase networking, they are usually reserved for those in higher education.
