Its extensive collection is a great opportunity for research, and its exhibits display many numismatic treasures.
Chicago, IL
The Money Museum at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago features many exciting exhibits. These include an interest rate game and counterfeit display. Other highlights include a cube containing one million dollars in bills, a "money pit," and one of seven known "Grand Watermelon" $1,000 bills.
Colorado Springs, CO
The ANA's Edward C. Rochette Money Museum features many exhibits covering a vast array of numismatic topics. The museum features many highlights, including a 1913 "V" nickel (only five known), 1792 half disme, and 1804 Draped Bust dollar. Fortunately, the museum has offers virtual tours and exhibits, increasing its accessibility.

The American Numismatic Society has "a very small display gallery with four cases." Viewing the gallery requires reaching out prior to the visit. The ANS was founded in 1858 and has "assembled a permanent collection of more than 800,000 coins, monetary objects, medals, and other related items dating back to 2000 BCE."
